For admissions to the reception, applications must be made through Shropshire County Council by 15th January in the academic year prior to which your child is due to start school. All applications received by this date will be considered and the parents will be informed by Shropshire Council on 16th April if they have been allocated a place for their child. Mid -Term requests
Claverley Primary School has a special status because it is aided by the Church of England. In terms of admitting children into the school, this makes the school different from community primary schools because the school’s governing body (and not the local authority (LA)) is responsible for its own admissions.

The governing body has a responsibility to safeguard the efficient education of all the children it admits into school. The governing body has a responsibility for ensuring that all decisions regarding children’s admissions are treated in a fair and equal manner. For this reason, all requests for admission are judged against identical, published criteria.
We also have a privately run nursery on-site – Little Woodlings
